Biography
I am Orion Powers, a dedicated Computer Science student at the Florida Institute of Technology, on track to graduate in December 2026. My academic journey is complemented by hands-on professional experience in software engineering and machine learning.
My professional background includes roles as a Software Engineer Intern at Modus Operandi, Hyperformant, and T Holdings. At Modus Operandi, I play a key role in designing and developing the user interface for a Department of Defense fighter pilot training management system. At Hyperformant, I was instrumental in building a fully functional SaaS platform and revamping the company's marketing website. At T Holdings, I implemented machine learning models that doubled efficiency in data documentation and accounting processes.
I'm passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and continuously expanding my knowledge in the rapidly evolving field of computer science. My diverse skill set spans from front-end development to machine learning implementation, allowing me to contribute effectively to various aspects of software projects.

Engineered and deployed a SaaS platform by customizing and integrating a CMSaaS Starter Kit, set up RESTful APIs, configured authentication, and ensured seamless data flow between frontend and backend systems.
